Our Mission
About this agency
The National Printing Office is the primary service provider for national, provincial, city, and municipal governments—including corporations and agencies—as mandated by Memorandum Circular No. 180 s. 2009, Executive Order No. 285 s. 1987, and Executive Order No. 378 s. 2004.
Under GPPB Resolution No. 05-2010, NPO is a Recognized Government Printer authorized to produce accountable forms and sensitive, high-volume documents for national government branches, constitutional offices, departments, bureaus, agencies, universities, GOCCs, institutions, and LGUs.
We are further tasked to print official ballots, election paraphernalia, statements of votes, certificates of canvass, and paper seals pursuant to Section 184 of Batas Pambansa Blg. 881 (Omnibus Election Code) and Section 13 of Republic Act No. 9369.
NPO retains exclusive printing jurisdiction over public documents such as the Official Gazette, while also accepting other government publication requirements.
Leadership Update
The National Printing Office (NPO) officially welcomes the appointment of Nicole M. Bacolod, MPP as its new Director IV. She was appointed on January 26, 2026, and officially assumed her duties on February 2, 2026.
Dir. Nicole M. Bacolod is a career public servant with extensive experience in governance, policy development, and institutional leadership. Prior to her appointment as Director of the National Printing Office, she served in senior management roles at the Department of National Defense.
She holds a Master in Public Policy from the National University of Singapore and is committed to advancing integrity, professionalism, and public trust in government service.
